Our club emphasises on General fitness training as it works towards broad goals of overall health and well-being, rather than narrow goals of sport competition, larger muscles or concerns over appearance. A regular moderate workout regimen and healthy diet can improve general appearance markers of good health such as muscle tone, healthy skin, while preventing age or lifestyle-related reductions in health and the series of heart and organ failures that accompany inactivity and poor diet.
We give rigorous training for Marathon, Dualthon and Triathlon.A marathon is a long-distance running race with an official distance of 42.195 kilometres,usually run as a road race.A Duathlon is an athletic event that consists of a running leg, followed by a cycling leg and then another running leg. A Triathlon is a multiple-stage competition which involves swimming, cycling, and running in immediate succession over various distances. Our club helps train athletes for such rigorous runs.
We also train for cycling where we use bicycles for exercise and weight loss. Cycling is considered to be an important part of fitness regime as it increases our stamina and endurance. We organize various cycling rally in and around the city for our club members.
Trail running, aka mountain running, is a sport which consists of running and hiking over trails. We conduct such trails usually on weekends in ills with ascents and descents. Hiking improves our muscular fitness and strengthens our glutes and quadriceps.
Yoga is our very own invention in the field of fitness and is today considered to be one of the most effective form of exercise in the long run. Yoga not only helps us physically but also affects us mentally by relaxing us and boosting our energy levels. We also take up Yoga sessions on daily basis following different Asanas and Surya Namaskars.
Trekking is a form of walking, undertaken with the specific purpose of exploring and enjoying the scenery. It usually takes place on trails in areas of relatively unspoiled wilderness. Trekking can be forest trekking or mountain trekking. Our club starts training several months before the trek and guides how to achieve optimum fitness.
Our Club Also Envolves In Social Activities Like Helping Local Sportmans Financially and Motivationally, Swach Bharat Abhiyan In Rammling and Areas Around Paani Foundation, Shramdan(Mehnat), Physiotherapy Camps Across City and Nearby Areas
Camping is a recreational activity pursued outdoors usually done individually or in company of friends and family. Camping also serves as a kind of fitness regime as it involves hiking, trekking, kayaking and other outdoor experiences.
Though formally “I’M Fit” started in Oct 2016 it was conceived and curated for previous 2-3 years by the contributions of enthusiasm and love of fitness.
Being a sportsman since childhood and having played Football and Hockey was always inclined towards fitness and perfect health. Unluckily i met with an accident in the year 2010 and suffered a Knee Injury and got operated in 2011 for the knee ligament tear. During the post operation recovery, rehabilitation and physiotherapy period he realized the utmost necessity of fitness for any sportsmen’s life. In this time of finding the new mantra for fitness I learned fitness exercises from Mumbai through specialized people. Again this was when he got inspired by Striders Miles (Highly regarded group of seasoned runners) of Mumbai and dreamt of creating “I’M Fit” in due course of time.
Thus “I’M Fit” was born. Today “I’M Fit” is one of the unique group of Fitness and Training after Mumbai in the whole of western Maharashtra. “I’M Fit” today is more than 100 people strong. Below mentioned are some of the activities we conduct on daily, weekly or occasionally.
